Decent Time Waster, but not substantive reading。Its good enough to read and I will be reading the sequel。 However, it isnt exceptional。 Some effort seems to have been made to make the main character intelligent, but this effort fails due to the complete simplicity of the authors attempts。 The events work themselves around as if what the main character did was intelligent, but if you put any thought into it beyond what the story explicitly says, you will find it far less so。 Its not so bad that I Decent Time Waster, but not substantive reading。Its good enough to read and I will be reading the sequel。 However, it isnt exceptional。 Some effort seems to have been made to make the main character intelligent, but this effort fails due to the complete simplicity of the authors attempts。 The events work themselves around as if what the main character did was intelligent, but if you put any thought into it beyond what the story explicitly says, you will find it far less so。 Its not so bad that I couldnt read it - as I said, I plan to read the sequel - but it certainly reduced my enjoyment considerably, forcing me to stretch my suspension of disbelief more than some may be willing to do。Past that it isn't a particularly unique story。 Its competent enough when it isn't trying to make the protagonist seem like a tactical genius。 To be clear, though, part of the reason I have no problem with the time I am wasting on it is simply that I spend a lot of time reading。 If you don't, and thus must be more selective in your reading choice, I would give this one a pass。 Barring that I would put it on the backburner for better reads。 。。。more
